"How much do you wanna bet I can't..." Matt was saying as he was cut off by a knock at the door.
"Who could that be?" Yuhed said as she came into the room.
"It's Lady Filla," Quenum said absently.
Yuhed stopped, her hand half-way to the door knob. "How-" She began, but Forest interupted her.
"How do YOU know it's Lady Filla?" Forest asked.
Quenum stoped what she had been doing, she looked puzzeled. "I-I don't know how, I just do."
The knock on the door became more urgent. Yuhed turned her attention away and opened the door.
Matt, who had been looking strangly at Quenum, gasped as he saw Lady Filla step through the door.
Filla looked at him. "Is there something wrong, Matt?"
Matt looked back and forth from Quenum and Filla. "N-No, Lady F-Filla." he stuttered.
Filla turned back to Yuhed. "We need to talk."
Yuhed looked meaningfully at the girls. "You don't want to say hi to the girls first?" she asked.
"No, there'll be time for that later. Now, we must talk, alone."
"Alright, in here." Yuhed guided Filla off to where she had been reading.
-How did you know it was her?- Forest mind spoke to Quenum curiously.
-I don't know, I don't know.-
* * * * * * * *
A little while later Yuhed and Lady Filla came back into the room.
"Girls, we have to go to the temple." Yuhed said, sitting beside Quenum on a chair.
"What?!" the word came from the girls at the same time. They hadn't been outside of the house for at least a year.
"You heard me."
"B-But, I can't get up," Quenum protested. "Let alone walk over to the temple. Forest is better at it, but even she can't walk that far. And what about Matt?"
"Matt will come with us," Filla explained. "And he and one of us can carry you. I have brought with me two horses, and we can use the one Yuhed has also. That should get us to the temple."
Quenum and Forest looked at each other. "Well, lets do it then," Forest said, starting to get up.
