The morning dawned bright and beautiful. After they had eaten then they set off. The girls were a lot more tired than they had thought and it had taken all their strength to get themselves woken up in the morning; neither had been able to walk to the horses.
Forest sent Quenum a mind giggle as they rode. -And just what were you and Matt doing again last night, I might ask?-
Quenum blushed visably. -'Doing'? We weren't doing anything, I was asleep...-
Forest cut her off. -Then what was HE doing to YOU then?-
Matt suddenly looked up, his face bright red from blushing. "I didn't do anything!" he shouted defensivly.
Yuhed turned her head sharply to look at him. "Didn't do what?" she asked, thinking that there was something wrong. Quenum and Forest exchanged glances.
"B- but, didnt..?" He stuttered, looking from Quenum to Forest and back again. "B- but Forest was... and, and Quenum..."
Quenum quickly put her hand to Matt's forehead, a concerned look on her face. She WAS concerned, if he could hear them when they were mind speaking....
"Are you okay, Matt?" she asked instead, and added with her mind, -Don't worry, we'll explain later.-
Forest added out loud, "Maybe you two should have slept last night instead of-"
Yuhed cut her off, midsentance, "We'll take a break shortly. Besides, I need to look at that hand of yours again, Matt."
Yuhed looked at Matt's hand, nothing seemed wrong with it and it was healed all the way now. She looked over him not sure what was wrong with him and thought it must be something he ate...
"You go and help Quenum and tell Forest to come here okay ?" She stood there watching Matt run off to get Forest. "What was that about Forest ?"
"Umm I really don't know, me and Quenum where talking in mind speak, and Matt 'heard' us, I don't know how though." Forest looked up at Yuhed.
"Okay that's defantly something new..." Yuhed shook her head and helped the girls back onto the horses and figured in for a few more miles before they stopped to eat something.
